Enhancing Production Efficiency the Second South Pars Gas Refinery

According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex Company, Mohsen Attarzadeh, referring to the reform of the layout of the sour gas headers, stated: “This action was taken to improve network performance and prevent potential damage to the feedlines, aiming to enhance safety and prevent dangerous leaks that could threaten production.”

He further mentioned that the modernization of the control system, wiring, and diesel pump sensors at the second refinery began this year as part of the precise maintenance of the second refinery. He added: “Leveraging the expertise of domestic specialists, the control system was successfully upgraded from a relay contactor system to a fully automated system, which is a valuable step towards conserving resources, increasing production efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gases.”
