24% growth in the production of polypropylene by Petrochemical Marun
Marun Petrochemical has witnessed a significant increase in its production compared to last year's September, with a positive performance this year. The company has achieved this growth by increasing its total production volume by 11%, paving the way for higher sales and revenue generation
According to an exclusive report by Energy Press, Marun Petrochemical experienced a significant growth in its product basket in September 2025, compared to the same month last year, with a positive performance. Based on data from KODAL, the total production this petrochemical increased by 11%, from 375,000 tons to 419,000 tons, indicating continuous improvement in capacity utilization.
Growth figures are evident across all production lines; notable highlights include a substantial increase in polypropylene production (24%) and mono ethylene glycol (28%). Additionally, the rise in ethylene, diethylene glycol, and CO2 has also contributed to the overall performance of the complex.
