Strengthening the country’s largest operational oil industry laboratory
The head of the Chemical Laboratories Operations Coordination at the National Iranian South Oilfields Company's Technical Affairs Department, in the Chemical Studies and Quality Control Laboratories section, announced: In the past year, more than 300 billion tomans have been spent on the purchase of laboratory equipment and the development of office spaces in laboratories.

According to a report by Energy Press, citing the National Iranian South Oilfields Company (NISOC), Hadi Etemadi stated today (Wednesday, January 13th) on the sidelines of the last day of the 16th specialized exhibition of manufacturing oil industry equipment in Khuzestan, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the basic infrastructure of the Chemical Deputy in enhancing technical and specialized laboratory services: “This deputy, with 22 operational laboratories, 10 specialized laboratories, and 275 specialized forces, is now recognized as the largest and most specialized operational laboratory complex within the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and plays a central role in monitoring the quality of crude oil, gas, and condensates, as well as specialized assessments of all chemical materials required by the facilities in the oil-rich regions of the south.”

He considered the evaluation of water and wastewater, analysis of process and downhole sediments, providing specialized services related to rock and fluid tests, and the field of enhanced oil recovery as important parts of the deputy’s responsibilities, highlighting its sensitive position in the production chain of the oil-rich regions of the south.

The Head of Chemical Laboratory Operations Coordination at NISOC’s Technical Affairs Management, on the sidelines of visiting the 16th exhibition of manufacturing oil industry equipment in Khuzestan, announced: “This deputy is among the pioneers and most active units in proposing ideas and conducting technical reviews of first-run production technologies. It has presented 6 first-run production projects in collaboration with the Research and Technology Department of the oil-rich regions of the south, with 3 projects in the implementation stage, 2 projects in the contract signing stage, and 1 project in the process of obtaining approval from the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology. Also, recently, a proposal for the construction of 7 laboratory equipment as first-run production has been submitted to NIOC’s Support and Procurement Department.”
