Household gas consumption dropped below 600 million cubic meters
Gas consumption in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors on January 11th decreased compared to the previous day, reaching 590 million cubic meters.

According to Energy Press, statistics from the National Iranian Gas Company show that on January 11th, gas consumption in the household, commercial, and industrial sectors reached 590 million cubic meters, indicating a decrease compared to previous days.

Household and commercial sectors account for a significant share of the country’s gas consumption, while power plants and major industries have a smaller share of the delivered gas.

The National Iranian Gas Company has emphasized: “Managing consumption in the household and commercial sectors plays a crucial role in the stability of the network and meeting the needs of other sectors.” The company has asked subscribers to provide the continued stable supply of gas across the country by adhering to optimal consumption patterns and saving on consumption. Observing optimal consumption patterns, especially during cold days of the year, in addition to maintaining network stability, also facilitates gas supply to industries.
