Advisor to the President: Removing bureaucracy is a condition for the development of petrochemical investment

According to Energy Press, today (Sunday, January 7th), Masoumeh Aghapour, at the first conference of investors in the petrochemical industry at the Oil Industry Convention Center (Koshk), considered it one of Iran’s relative advantages and stated: the petrochemical industry has prevented the sale of crude oil and can generate good income for the country and provide a path for wealth creation for the country.
He added: Currently, about 8% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is provided by the petrochemical industry, so it should be among the priorities of the country’s driving projects. Undoubtedly, this industry is one of the 3 industries of Pishran, which receives special attention from the 14th government.
The presidential adviser on economic cooperation stated that investment in the petrochemical industry is formed on the three sides of political security, public trust and the country’s economy, and clarified: In the political security sector, international efforts are underway, although cruel sanctions have been imposed on us, but we can overcome these difficult conditions with perseverance.
