Launching the South Azadegan Processing Unit is an effective measure to neutralize sanctions

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Esmaeil Hosseini, referring to the launch of the second tier of the Central Processing Unit of the South Azadegan Joint Field (CTEP), stated: “In the current situation where the country’s economy relies on oil revenues, one of our main priorities should be the development of joint fields.”
He added: “Iran has delays in harvesting from joint oil fields due to various reasons, including economic sanctions, and the exploitation of oil projects such as the Central Processing Unit of the South Azadegan Joint Field, as ordered by the President last week, will have a significant impact on eliminating these delays.”
Stating that enemies are trying to disrupt various sectors of the oil industry, including the production and sale of Iranian oil, the spokesman for the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized: “With maximum effort, effort, and management, threats and sanctions can be neutralized.”
He added: “The launch of oil projects and plans such as the Central Processing Unit of the South Azadegan Joint Field is considered a form of neutralization of sanctions and an effective measure to increase the country’s oil production in the current situation.” According to Shana, the second tier of the Central Processing Unit of the South Azadegan Joint Field (CTEP), the largest oil and gas processing unit in the country, is one of the strategic infrastructures of the National Iranian Oil Company in the West Karun fields area, which was designed and implemented with the aim of creating a sustainable capacity for processing, transporting, and stabilizing crude oil from the South Azadegan Field and other neighboring fields.
