For the second year in a row, Zagros Petrochemical became the sponsor of the campaign to reduce gas and electricity consumption by 10%

According to the press report, citing the public relations of Zagros Petrochemical Company, this ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Abbaszadeh, Deputy Minister of Oil and CEO of National Petrochemical Industries Company, Dr. Deidari, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zagros Petrochemical Company, Dr. Mahdavi, Secretary General of the Petrochemical Industry Employers Association, and a group of media members.
In this ceremony, Dr. Abbaszadeh, referring to the continuation of gas imbalance in the country, emphasized the importance of energy consumption management as a sustainable and low-cost solution to overcome the peak consumption in the cold seasons of the year and said: the experience of the first year of this campaign, which was held with the support and accompaniment of Zagros Petrochemical Company as the first petrochemical sponsor of this project; It showed that with the participation of people and the implementation of incentive policies, it is possible to return a part of domestic gas consumption to the production cycle and prevent the disruption of industrial production.
In his speech, Dr. Mahdavi considered energy consumption management as one of the strategic necessities of the petrochemical industry and the national economy and added: reducing consumption in the domestic sector will not only help the sustainability of production in large industries, but will promote the culture of optimizing energy consumption at the community level.
