Deputy Minister of Oil: The decisive role of the fleet in the stability of the energy flow

According to Energy Press, today (Sunday, December 30) at the conference celebrating the transportation week at the Ministry of Petroleum, Sediqa Khazaei congratulated the birth of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (PBUH) and on the eve of the month of Rajab and the birth of Hazrat Ali (PBUH), he said: I hope that positive measures will be taken for the oil industry with the blessing of these days.
He also honored the memory of Tandgovian martyrs and reminded them: they were also captured during their visit to operational areas. The operation department is not just equipment, but its human power and human capital are of fundamental importance.
Imam’s historical order for transportation day
Emphasizing the importance of the fleet and transportation management, the Deputy Minister of Oil for the Development of Management and Human Capital said: “Certainly, an important part of the activities of the oil industry comes back to the fleet and transportation management.”
Referring to the fact that the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1362 named Transportation Day, Khazaei reminded: At that time, the country’s ports were almost inactive and basic goods remained in Imam Port. With the historical decree of Imam Khomeini (RA), the activists of the transportation field and truck drivers entered the square to clear these goods.
He clarified: In 1376, according to the same historical order, it was decided to honor the day and week of transportation.
Transportation is the vital artery of industries
The Deputy Minister of Oil for the Development of Management and Human Capital considered the transportation industry as the vital artery of industries and added: Transportation creates vibrancy and movement in every industry, but in the oil industry, due to its sensitivities and its role in driving the economy, this importance is double. We should not limit transportation only to transportation or take a careless look at it, but the work done in this sector is a specialized part of oil and gas production operations.
Khazaei continued: A significant part of the operations of the oil industry is carried out in the field of transportation, and a large number of our human resources and human capital work in this sector; Both those who manage the transportation network and drivers who are directly in the field of work.
Referring to the special climatic conditions of the oil industry and the role of the transport fleet from the time of exploration to the establishment of facilities and the delivery of projects, he continued: We are facing a very important system that may not have been paid enough attention in the oil industry. However, good actions have been taken, including the creation of management dashboards and the implementation of maintenance programs in companies.
Creating a comprehensive system for transportation management
Stating that a comprehensive system should be created for the transportation sector in the future, the Deputy Oil Minister added: This system is not only limited to cars, but will also include the human resources active in the transportation fleet, their type of activity and expertise, so that knowledge management is formed and smart management is done. In such a situation, it is possible to achieve a networked and regular structure that will help the oil industry.
