Successful installation of ESP in-well pump in North Yaran field

According to Energy Press, citing Oil Development and Engineering Company, Seyyed Hossein Mohseni Zanuzi stated that the installation of the in-well pump in well No. 2 north of Yaran field was carried out in accordance with the policies of Matan Company to use new methods of artificial flow generation in fields that face natural pressure drop. He said: The pump installed at a depth of 2,130 meters and with specifications including a capacity of 100 cubic meters per day, 204 stages and 54 kW motor is designed and selected. Equipping Well No. 2 with this advanced system allows achieving daily production of 500 barrels of oil and maintaining flow stability during long-term exploitation periods.
He added: the stages of equipment selection, transportation to the site, completion string driving, ESP system installation and performance tests were carried out with the cooperation of the technical teams of West Karun field development management and exploitation units, HSE and drilling services, and all the tests related to the engine, power cable, protection system and flow measurement tests were successfully confirmed after installation.
