South Pars Second Refinery’s online monitoring system upgraded to advanced generation 3500

According to Energy Press, citing South Pars Gas Complex Company, Mehrdad Vaheb stated: The online monitoring system upgrade was carried out with the aim of updating old equipment and maximizing the use of domestic production capacity, which resulted in increasing the accuracy of monitoring the equipment status, improving the stability of performance, and improving the reliability of process systems.
He stated: In implementing this project, the experts of the precision instrument repair unit, relying on local technical knowledge, successfully completed all stages of design, installation, and commissioning of the new system.
Referring to the relative wear and tear of the previous generation monitoring systems, the head of maintenance of the control systems of the second South Pars Refinery stated: Upgrading to the new model, in addition to reducing maintenance and repair costs, plays an effective role in supporting stable, safe, and uninterrupted production at the refinery.
