Gas outage at Zagros Petrochemical; Stoppage of the second production unit and its impact on Mobin Energy

According to Energy Press, the gas outage in parts of the Zagros Petrochemical Complex, which began on December 25, 1404, has disrupted the production process of this large methanol unit in the country. According to the company’s official announcement, the restrictions imposed by the National Gas Company have caused the complete shutdown of the second production unit and this situation will continue until further notice. Zagros emphasized that as soon as the restrictions are lifted and the production process restarts, details will be published through the Kodal system. On the other hand, Mobin Energy Persian Gulf Company, as the utility service provider of the complex, announced that the restrictions imposed on the receipt of natural gas by the second Zagros Unit have reduced the consumption of some ancillary services. However, the company emphasizes that, based on annual budget forecasts, the production shutdown caused by this restriction will not have a significant impact on earnings per share and there are no concerns about drastic changes in financial performance.
