Delivery of 391 million liters of low-sulfur furnace oil to thermal power plants by the end of November
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced the delivery of 391 million liters of low-sulfur furnace oil to four thermal power plants by the end of November.

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar, in an interview with Shana, announced the 14th government’s determination to improve the quality of the country’s petroleum products and stated: “The production and delivery of low-sulfur furnace oil in the past two months has been implemented in line with the completion of the fuel supply chain. This measure not only provides part of the fuel for thermal power plants, but also reduces the environmental impacts caused by pollutants.” Stating that by the end of November this year, a total of 391 million liters of low-sulfur furnace oil have been delivered to four thermal power plants, he said: “The production of low-sulfur furnace oil is one of the measures that plays a significant role in saving the consumption of the main fuels of power plants, including power plant oil and gas, during the winter season and peak consumption.”
