Record-breaking delivery of diesel to power plants with zero imports

According to Energy Press, Keramat Vaiskarami, CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company, stated in an interview with a Tasnim News Agency economic reporter: The average daily distribution of gasoline from the beginning of this year to November 11 was 133 million liters.
He added: Last year, during the same period, this figure was 124.5 million liters, which compared to the average gasoline consumption this year indicates a 6.8 percent increase in gasoline consumption in the country.
Record-breaking in diesel storage with “zero imports”
Stating that “diesel imports have stopped,” the CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company said: Record-breaking in the delivery of diesel to power plants and filling of the country’s power plant oil and gas tanks took place in a situation where we did not import diesel this year and all of this diesel was supplied by the production capacity of domestic refineries.
He added: Unlike previous years, we also had a decrease in non-power plant diesel consumption; So that compared to last year, not only did we not have an increase in non-power plant diesel consumption, but we also had a decrease in daily consumption.
