National drilling and oil cooperation in the central regions with 8 active rigs

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Drilling Company, Abdolkarim Alimohammadi, noting that most of the company’s drilling rigs, after the National Southern Oilfields Company, are located in the scope of activity of the Central Iranian Oil Company and mainly in gas fields, stated: Currently, drilling rigs are active in the locations of the East Oil and Gas Exploitation Companies in Toos and Khanqiran fields (Khorasan Razavi Province), the West Oil and Gas Exploitation Company in Danan field (Ilam Province), and the South Zagros Exploitation Company in Khartang fields (Busheh Province), Dalan (Fars Province), and Mukhtar (Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Province).
Referring to the use of 31, 40, 57, 54, 35, 68, 91 and 78 Fateh rigs in Central Regions Oil Company projects, he said: Given that well repair is carried out in two ways, with and without the presence of a rig, the three mobile core tube devices of the company’s technical services fleet also play an effective role in accelerating well repair operations.
The deputy CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company continued in drilling projects: Due to the formation complexities, most drilling operations in the Southern Zagros fields are carried out using the air drilling method, and a major part of well repair operations without the presence of a rig include acid stimulation of the well, nitrogen lifting, installation of cement and mechanical plugs, and removal of obstacles.
Alimohammadi stated about the separation of rigs: Currently, 68 and 91 Fateh rigs are deployed in the Toos gas field and 35 Fateh rig is deployed in the Khangiran field. In Toos field, after completing well number 1 and drilling well number 2 using the Fatah 91 rig, drilling of wells numbers 3 and 4 is currently in the final stages.
