Sharif University localizes spiral pipes for the oil industry

Pouya, Marketing and Commercialization Director of the Jihad-e-Sazandagi Organization at Sharif University of Technology, pointed out that Sharif University operates as a multidisciplinary institution consisting of specialized service centers, research groups, and advanced laboratories that collaborate in the design and production of advanced technologies, noting that the university has over 50 years of experience in scientific and industrial innovation. He went on to describe the spiral tubing system as another key advanced product developed at the university. The device, which is used in the oil industry for well service and repair operations, can sink pipes up to 6 kilometers deep into wells. Pouya emphasized that localizing this technology will help prevent foreign exchange outflows and strengthen national production capabilities.
