Comprehensive HSE and Passive Defense Roadmap Announced at National Oil Company

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company’s exploration management, Alireza Nojomi stated in a joint meeting with the management: The HSE roadmap has been communicated to the subordinate companies by the National Iranian Oil Company’s HSE management and is being implemented.
He added: The HSE roadmap in exploration management must be localized and for the Seventh Development Plan, upcoming actions and activities must be formulated in a way that correctly explains and implements the work process, audits, performance, and attitude towards the contractor sector.
Referring to the high risk of exploration activities, the Director of HSE, Passive Defense, and Crisis Management of the National Iranian Oil Company emphasized: It is necessary to have a deep and systematic look at the field of HSE and passive defense, especially the safety sector, so that by creating a comprehensive management system, the necessary measures can be taken in the shortest time and with the least risk.
Nojomi also announced cooperation in obtaining environmental permits and added: In this regard, it is necessary to form a working group consisting of the Exploration Management, the HSE of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Oil Company.
He clarified: The development of HSE guidelines for exploration activities and obtaining the necessary permits will be carried out in cooperation with the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company.
