Tehran’s gas consumption increased from 34 to 57 million cubic meters

Energy Press reported that Ali Asghar Navaei, referring to the significant increase in gas consumption in the capital due to the decrease in air temperature in recent days, stated: In the past 24 hours, more than 57 million cubic meters of gas have been consumed in Tehran province in the household, commercial and small industries, while the consumption on the same day last week was nearly 34 million cubic meters, which indicates a 67 percent increase in gas consumption in the province. Emphasizing the importance of observing safety precautions and efficient gas consumption, Navaei advised Tehran citizens: Before installing and operating heating systems, especially heaters, make sure that the chimney is open and prevent accidents caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
