CEO of National Oil Company: Facilitative view of regulatory institutions is a condition for sustainable gas production

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company, Hamid Borde stated today (Sunday, November 8) at the company’s board of directors meeting hosted by Pars Oil and Gas Company at the South Pars Phase 14 Refinery, referring to the strategic position of the oil industry in the national economy: Oil should be given special attention at the national level, because the development of this industry’s activities is the driving force behind economic growth and increasing the country’s added value.
By conveying the Minister of Oil’s message of appreciation to the hardworking employees of the Persian Gulf gas platforms, he emphasized the necessity of strengthening the national and supportive outlook towards the oil industry and added: It is expected that the country’s regulatory bodies, with a deep understanding of the importance and sensitivity of the oil industry’s missions, will provide the basis for accelerating affairs and improving productivity with a facilitating view; because every step in the path of facilitating oil activities directly leads to increasing economic value at the national level.
Referring to the beginning of the cold season and the need for a sustainable energy supply for the country, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company stated: “With careful planning and holding regular meetings with the presence of the Minister of Oil, we will welcome winter this year with maximum preparation.”
