Iran’s oil exports increase to highest level in 7 years

According to Energy Press, statistics from the Tanker Trackers Institute show that just three weeks after our country’s oil exports set a record, a new record has been recorded in this area again, and Iran’s oil exports in October increased by 200,000 barrels per day to 2.3 million barrels per day.
The figure is the highest level of our country’s oil exports in the past 7 and a half years and after the US withdrew from the JCPOA.
While Iran’s oil exports are continuously breaking records, the US has imposed a strict sanctions structure against our country and is trying to reduce the volume of Iranian oil exports to zero.
The Foundation for Defense of Democracy has also confirmed the increase in Iran’s oil exports and announced that despite the sanctions on Iranian tankers, they are operating freely and transporting our country’s oil.
Experts believe that the increase in Iran’s oil exports first indicates Tehran’s expanding ability to circumvent sanctions, and secondly, it indicates the increasing role of China as our country’s largest oil importer.
Statistics indicate that nearly 90 percent of our country’s oil exports are purchased by the Chinese, and the UAE is the second largest buyer of our country’s oil.
