Start of loading and installation operations for South Pars Phase 11 jacket

According to Energy Press, citing Petropars Group Public Relations and International Affairs, Dr. Hamidreza Saghafi, CEO of Petropars, considered this event a symbol of national power in the country’s oil and gas industry and said: “The SP11A jacket, with a height of 76.5 meters and a weight of more than 4063 tons, is the result of the round-the-clock efforts of Iranian specialists and is considered the beginning of a decisive stage in the development of Phase 11.
And without the efforts and efforts of Petropars’ hardworking colleagues, achieving this success would not have been possible, and each of them can be proud of themselves.”
He continued: The production capacity of Platform 11A will be about one billion cubic feet of gas per day, and after the jacket is installed, drilling operations for 15 wells will begin. Engineer Nadiran, the project executor, added that over the past year, with the completion of key wells and the delivery of the SPD11B platform, Phase 11 production has increased from about 500 million to more than 800 million cubic feet per day.
