The 17th major overhaul of the Ilam Gas Refinery has begun
The head of maintenance at the Ilam Gas Refinery announced the start of the 17th major overhaul of the refinery on September 1st, saying: "The major overhaul of this period will continue for 24 days, with an estimated 64,000 man-hours of executive staff and 20,000 man-hours of supervisory staff."

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Gas Company, Hassan Zargooshi stated that the country’s refining companies’ major repairs are carried out annually and in coordination with the National Iranian Gas Company and upstream and downstream companies, and said: This year’s major repairs of the Ilam refinery include inspection, repair, renovation and cleaning of more than 3,600 different mechanical, electrical and precision instruments to increase the reliability of the system and production stability. He stated that it is expected that about 84,000 operational and support man-hours will be allocated for the major repairs during this period, adding: The major repairs, with the forecast of about 64,000 man-hours of executive force, 20,000 man-hours of supervisory and support force, and the formation of 28 working groups, have started on September 1 of this year and will continue for 24 days.
