Success of major repairs at South Pars Site 2 relying on Iranian knowledge

According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex, Hassan Asadi, referring to the successful process of major repairs of the refineries of Site 2 of the complex, said: Major repairs are being carried out using domestic technical capacity and using Iranian equipment, and its main goal is to increase productivity in the natural gas production process.
Stating that this year’s repairs have been planned based on five key axes, he said: Removing operational bottlenecks, conducting technical inspections in accordance with RBI standards, implementing preventive repairs in precision instrumentation and industrial control systems, advancing engineering corrective projects, and implementing scheduled repair programs are among the main axes of this operation.
Referring to the key measures taken during this period of repairs, the Deputy Director of Site 2 of the South Pars Gas Complex added: Replacing molecular sieve adsorbents and catalysts, removing cold box blockages, and washing equipment have played an important role in improving the performance of refineries and increasing productivity.
