Construction of 56-inch line begins to strengthen the central gas corridor

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, the project to construct the 56-inch pipeline of the tenth national gas line from Pol-e-Kale to Tiran (section one) with a length of about 50 kilometers began simultaneously with the start of the class change operation of the 20-inch Tasuj to Urmia line.
This project aims to increase the country’s gas transmission capacity to one billion cubic meters per day and strengthen the stability of the network in the country’s central corridor by the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company and is being constructed with the advice of the Iranian Industry and Management Consulting Engineers Company and the contracting of Nasr Misagh Ahvaz and Danial Petro.
The construction of the 56-inch pipeline with a length of approximately 50 kilometers, the construction of a launcher station, two LBV stations and the class change operation are part of the 20-inch Tasuj to Urmia line.
