Iran’s oil revenues exceeded $46 billion last year
OPEC figures show that Iran's revenue from oil exports will exceed $46 billion in 2024 by more than $5.6 billion (an increase of 14%).

According to Energy Press, according to statistics published in the 60th issue of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Statistical Bulletin, Iran has achieved the highest increase in oil revenue among the members of the organization with a nearly 14 percent growth in oil export revenues in 2024.
Accordingly, Iran earned more than $46 billion and 776 million in oil export revenues last year, which was nearly $41 billion and 129 million in 2023. After Iran, Venezuela has the best performance in terms of increasing oil revenues, reaching $13 billion and 88 million in 2023 to $18 billion and 372 million in 2024.
Interestingly, only four OPEC members have achieved positive performance in terms of increasing oil revenues in 2024, and apart from Iran and Venezuela, Nigeria with a growth of $1 billion and Equatorial Guinea with a slight growth of $39 million are in the next ranks. This is while OPEC members’ income from oil exports has decreased by a total of four percent, from $678 billion in 2023 to about $652 billion in 2024.
