Electricity consumption in the country decreased by 600 megawatts
The Director General of the Electricity Network Engineering and Management said about the successful implementation of the 100 Nights, 100 Visits project aimed at reducing the effects of electricity waste in the country: "This project has so far resulted in savings of 600 megawatts in electricity consumption."

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Electricity Production, Transmission and Distribution Management Company (Tavanir), Reza Kafili, referring to the actions of the Ministry of Energy and Tavanir Company in prioritizing electricity consumption management, added: As part of the development of 36 consumption management packages for electricity distribution companies, a plan titled “100 Nights, 100 Visits” was designed and implemented, based on which supervisory and operational groups monitor wasteful consumption every night across the country.
Stating that this plan was formed in response to the problem of unnecessary consumption in guilds, commercial complexes, roadsides and tourism, lighting parks and even illuminated facades of buildings, he continued: The purpose of implementing this program was to reduce excess lighting in urban and suburban streets, warn and warn high-consumption consumers, and eliminate wasteful consumption.
The Director General of Engineering and Management of the Electricity Network noted: So far, the implementation of this plan has reduced consumption by about 299 MW on inner-city roads, 111 MW on suburban roads, and 61 MW in villages. Also, 64 MW has been saved in the areas of advertising boards, parks, building facades, and commercial places, 35 MW in villas on the outskirts of cities, and 30 MW in roadside and tourist complexes.
