The latest status of Tehran’s dam reserves was announced
Tehran's dam reserves have decreased by 277 million cubic meters compared to the same day last year, while last year was also a dry year, and this issue indicates the high severity of the drought in Tehran these days.

According to Energy Press, Tehran’s dam reserves continue to decline, and while on July 14, the total reserves of Tehran’s dams reached 414 million cubic meters, on July 18, this figure decreased to 402 million cubic meters.
Tehran’s dam reserves have decreased by 277 million cubic meters compared to the same day last year, while last year was also a dry year; this shows how significant the severity of the drought is this year, as compared to a dry year, we are facing a significant drop in water reserves.
Also, the reserves of 402 million cubic meters in Tehran’s dams are 523 million cubic meters short of the normal reserves of the dams at the end of July (925 million cubic meters).
Meanwhile, the reserves of Tehran’s dams have reached 402 million cubic meters, while this figure was 414 million cubic meters on July 14. In just 4 days, we have lost 12 million cubic meters of the reserves of Tehran’s dams, which indicates the high rate of water consumption in Tehran.
