Part of the oil flare in the west of the country was extinguished

According to Energy Press, with the launch of the first phase of the Dehloran NGL 3100 refinery project, some of the associated gas burners were turned off. With these shutdowns, 84 million cubic feet of gas per day will be produced.
This project, which was designed and implemented with the investment and management of the Afas Company, an affiliate of the Oil Industry Pension Fund, is a continuation of the development of liquefied natural gas (NGL) refineries in the country.
The purpose of this project is to focus on flaring in the western and border regions, the high volume of absorbed sour and sweet gases, and its connection with the development of power plants and the petrochemical industry chain in the region. This measure is not only a technical step, but also indicates a new strategic and environmental approach in the Iranian oil industry. An approach based on productivity, pollution reduction, and creating added value from resources that have been wasted so far.
