Oil, gas, refining, distribution, and petrochemical industry employees are silent contributors to national security

According to Energy Press, in the eight years of the Holy Defense, it was this industry that, despite repeated bombings, provided the energy needed by the front and the people. Refineries, transmission lines, petrochemicals, and export docks provided the country with the labor and foreign exchange it needed under the shadow of the war.
When gasoline became the Achilles heel of the country’s economy, it was these same employees who accelerated refinery development plans and proudly implemented the policy of replacing gasoline with gas in public transportation and cars. They saved the country from dependence and made the gasoline embargo ineffective.
During the years of the oil embargo, the development of refineries reached such a level that crude oil exports decreased to a small share and the country moved towards a “no to crude oil sales” policy. In the petrochemical sector, the children of this land have also launched major projects and are trying to meet national needs while responding to the global market; and that is in a situation where we are under the pressure of unfair and unilateral global sanctions.
We kept the country’s economy afloat. We provided chemical fertilizers for farmers, we provided raw materials for the polymer industry and infrastructure pipes, and we kept the wheels of industry turning with cheap energy. Despite sanctions, we served national development and even world peace.
