The fifth refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex supplies 7% of the gas delivered to the refineries in the region annually.

According to Energy Press, citing South Pars Gas Complex Company, Kambiz Sefati stated on Wednesday (May 10) at the weekly production and review meeting of strategic projects of the South Pars Gas Complex, which was held with the presence of the Director of Coordination and Supervision of Production of the National Gas Company, the CEO, the staff managers and the refineries of the South Pars Gas Complex: “With careful planning and implementation of important indicators, we have taken steps towards sustainable production without any stoppage or reduction in production since the end of the major repairs on November 4 last year.” He pointed out that the major repairs were carried out with high quality and without any incidents at the fifth refinery, adding: “The implementation of major repairs without incidents and their completion ahead of schedule in two consecutive years, 1402 and 1403, demonstrates the firm determination and jihadi work of the employees and specialists of this refinery complex.” The manager of the fifth refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex stated: Extensive efforts have been made in the refineries of the South Pars Gas Complex to advance and strengthen this industry and provide energy to the country. Last year, using domestic parts and equipment and implementing new ideas, more than 19 billion cubic meters of natural gas were sent from the fifth refinery of the South Pars to the national network.
Implementation of 25 strategic projects relying on domestic power
Sifati pointed to 25 very vital and strategic projects implemented by the specialists and employees of this complex using domestic goods and said: The project to build 2 flare type devices of the fifth refinery, phase 9, the construction of the HSE building, 11 operator buildings, a three-story building, the construction of an auxiliary seawater storage tank with a volume of 2756 cubic meters, as well as the repair, supply and commissioning of the equipment and facilities of the second butane tank of the fifth refinery are among the most important projects implemented in this complex.
