Contracts for 4 first-time production projects signed at Ilam Gas Refinery

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Gas Company, Mohsen Khazali, referring to the completion of four first-time production projects of Ilam Gas Refining Company, including the design and manufacture of coil vane converters, the design and manufacture of ultrasonic corrosion monitoring detectors, the manufacture of corrosion-resistant coatings, and methyl diethanolamine, stated: “These projects were completed by relying on the capabilities of domestic companies and the technical knowledge of the country’s experts. By implementing these projects, the company succeeded in reducing its dependence on imported equipment and supporting the capabilities of knowledge-based companies and domestic experts.” Referring to the problem-oriented research project contract in 1403, he said: These projects included the feasibility study of improving the thermal performance of the refinery’s air cooler due to increasing ambient temperature, the construction of a wireless ultrasonic online corrosion monitoring system, the removal of BTEX compounds from industrial wastewater before entering the treatment plant using modern methods, and the construction of a composite absorbent nano-photocatalyst based on minerals in order to reduce COD and remove amine-based materials at the disposal outlet of the wastewater treatment unit. The Head of Research and Technology of Ilam Gas Refining Company, emphasizing the importance of the project to build a wireless ultrasonic online corrosion monitoring system, added: The use of ultrasonic testing systems is growing worldwide and in our country due to the high reliability of test results and the absence of damage to the product or process under test, and its use is inevitable.
