Dispatching HSE experts from the oil industry to Shahid Rajaee Pier

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company, Shahram Ahmadi stated that the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company has taken on the role of support and coordination at the scene of the incident by mobilizing facilities, sending equipment and dispatching firefighting teams. He added: “Based on the previous division of labor of the Passive Defense Organization, the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company was designated as the senior commander of the industries in the west of Hormozgan province, and from the initial moments of the incident, the company’s operational teams, along with the employees of the Bandar Abbas refinery, quickly arrived at the scene and have been continuously present until now.” Emphasizing the full mobilization of the oil industry facilities in Bandar Abbas, he stated: The Persian Gulf Star and Bandar Abbas refineries, the National Petroleum Products Distribution Company in the Hormozgan region, the Persian Gulf region oil pipelines and telecommunications, the Pars Special Economic Zone, the Sarkhun and Qeshm Gas Refining Company, and other operational forces, including expert firefighters from the oil industry, are responsible for operational support for this incident. The Director General of the HSE of the Ministry of Oil stated: 4 fire trucks with 10 firefighters were dispatched to the scene from the Pars Special Zone. In total, 20 fire trucks and the required equipment, including 4 fire water tankers, 10 fumigation fire trucks, and 6 multi-purpose fire trucks, have been dispatched to the scene by various oil companies located in the region.
