Record production of 1 billion and 114 million cubic meters of gas in one day

According to Energy Press, Hamid Borde, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, Borde, announced in an interview with a reporter from the government information website a seven percent increase in oil production in the 14th government and said: “The National Iranian Oil Company has shown a brilliant record in the gas sector in 1403 by setting a record of producing one billion and 114 million cubic meters of gas in one day. The start of oil production from the Khesht field after years of waiting, increasing gas production in the Toos field, operating the Varavi pressure boosting facilities and the Ahvaz centralized desalination unit were among the key projects that led to this success.
These efforts, in cooperation with all departments of the Ministry of Oil, especially in the second half of 1403, resulted in a significant performance for the Iranian oil industry. The result was a seven percent increase in oil production.
