According to Energy Press, Javanshir Sadeghi stated: “Despite the challenges facing the project, thanks to the efforts of our colleagues, we were able to make 71 percent physical progress, and the compressors required for the facility have also been purchased with the participation of domestic private companies, which will be operational by the end of the year.” Referring to the completion and launch of the Rag Sefid 1 (the remaining two rows), Aghajari 2, and Pazanan projects by the end of 1404, he said: “Given the good progress and the goals set, we will witness the launch of these projects by the end of the year.” The CEO of the Persian Gulf Bidboland Gas Refinery Company continued: The project to “improve and construct flare gas collection facilities” in eastern Karun aims to improve the environment and create wealth from oil-associated gases by providing the refinery with the feed needed by 27 sub-projects and 6 power supply projects in the four areas of Marun, Aghajari, Ragsafid, and Gachsaran, in order to prevent the daily burning of 670 million cubic feet of gas.
