Billions in savings achieved in South Pars Gas Complex with domestic production

According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex, Gholam Abbas Hosseini announced extensive support for knowledge-based companies and domestic producers and announced: “So far, more than 11,589 items of goods have been domestically produced in this complex. Among these achievements is the successful localization of one of the gas transmission turbines by an Iranian company, which has reduced dependence on foreign suppliers.” He added: “In the past months of this year, by purchasing 2.4 trillion tomans of domestically produced goods and equipment for the South Pars refineries, a significant amount of foreign exchange has been prevented from flowing out, and this measure has so far saved the country 4.8 million euros in foreign exchange.”
