Drilling of a gas well in Khanqiran completed

According to Energy Prebes, citing the Central Iranian Oil Company, in line with the realization of production plans, the drilling of well number 79 of the Khanqiran gas field was completed with the technical and administrative measures for the installation of wellhead facilities and a flow pipeline.
It is expected that one million cubic meters of gas per day will be added to the production capacity of the Shargh Oil and Gas Exploitation Company next year.
The Khanqiran gas field, with 66 production and injection gas wells and a production capacity of 66 million cubic meters per day, is within the operational scope of the Shargh Oil and Gas Exploitation Company, one of the oil companies in the central regions of Iran, and plays a major role in supplying gas to the eastern and northeastern regions of the country.
