78% of the country’s delivered gas is consumed in the domestic sector

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, noting that 866 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced and delivered to the national network on Sunday (March 3), announced: 78 percent of the total natural gas delivered to the network was allocated to the domestic, commercial and small industries.
He clarified: Gas consumption in the domestic, commercial and small industries increased by 9 percent yesterday compared to the same day last year, due to the decrease in temperature in most provinces of the country.
A spokesman for the National Iranian Gas Company stated: 675 million cubic meters of the total natural gas delivered to the national network was consumed in the domestic, commercial and small industries.
