The household sector accounts for 80% of the country’s gas consumption

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, noting that 867 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced and delivered to the national network on Tuesday, announced: 80 percent of the total natural gas delivered to the network has been allocated to the domestic, commercial and small industries.
He clarified: Gas consumption in the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors increased by 4 percent yesterday compared to the same day last year, due to the decrease in temperature in most provinces of the country.
A spokesman for the National Iranian Gas Company stated: 692 million cubic meters of this amount was consumed in the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors.
