Tehran Province’s gas consumption reached 70 million cubic meters

The operations manager of the Tehran Provincial Gas Company announced that Tehran residents' daily gas consumption is 65 to 70 million cubic meters and announced the full readiness of gas reduction stations across the province.
According to Energy Press, Esmail Shoja, during a visit to Shahriar Pressure Reduction Station No. 4 today (Tuesday, March 27), pointed out that Tehran province has 4 million gas consumers and an average of 65 to 70 million cubic meters of gas is consumed in the province daily, and stated: Gas is delivered to the pressure reduction station at a pressure of 1,000 PSI, and at this station it is reduced to 250 PSI. He referred to the localization of mercaptan and said: Previously, this substance was imported from abroad as a gas odorant additive, but now, relying on domestic power, mercaptan has been localized and its quality is similar to the foreign sample.
