Project to increase gas transmission capacity to the west and northwest of the country

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, Behnam Mirzaei stated during a visit to the Ahvaz-Kuhdasht gas pipeline project: This project is one of the important projects of the National Iranian Gas Company that must be completed on time to help the country’s energy balance next year. Therefore, before this visit, four meetings were held with project managers in the employer, consulting and contracting departments, and subsequently, a visit was made to all four areas to examine the project’s strengths and weaknesses.
He continued: During this visit, the board members made important decisions regarding the technical, executive and financial aspects of the project to accelerate the implementation process of all four areas, in accordance with the emphases of the CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company.
Referring to the benefits of implementing this project, the head of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company stated: The Ahvaz-Kuhdasht gas pipeline is part of the ninth national gas pipeline, which is being built parallel to the sixth national gas line. The goal of this project is to create operational flexibility and increase gas transmission capacity in the western and northwestern axis of the country.
