Pezeshkian: Bilateral cooperation between Iran and Russia in the energy sector is positive

According to Energy Press, citing the Presidential Information Center, on Tuesday evening (Feb. 20), in a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Orchuk, who traveled to Tehran to participate in the Third Caspian Economic Summit, Masoud Pezeshkian considered the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Treaty between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation to be one of the most important manifestations of cooperation between the two countries and stated: This treaty has well outlined the path of strategic cooperation and the development of interactions between the two countries, and its implementation should be seriously on the agenda of the authorities. He evaluated the process of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the energy, industry, transportation and trade sectors as very positive and added: Regional and international organizations, including Eurasia, BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, have also opened new platforms for joint cooperation, and we hope that by taking advantage of these opportunities, the people of the two countries will benefit from its benefits as soon as possible.
