73% of the country’s natural gas was consumed in the domestic sector

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi stated that 871 million cubic meters of natural gas was produced and injected into the national grid yesterday (Saturday, February 17), and announced that 73 percent of this amount was allocated to the domestic, commercial, and small industries sectors.
He stated that 638 million cubic meters of the total natural gas delivered to the grid was consumed in the domestic, commercial, and small industries sectors.
After the cold weather and the forecast of a decrease in temperature, President Masoud Pezzekian, Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad, and a group of country officials invited people to participate in the “2 degrees below” campaign by publishing visual or written messages with the aim of optimal consumption and providing winter fuel.
