Domestic gas consumption exceeded 670 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, referring to the record of gas consumption in the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors yesterday (26 Azar) in 1403, stated: Of the 858 million cubic meters of sweet gas injected into the national pipeline yesterday, 671 million cubic meters were consumed in the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors.
Stating that 78 percent of the total sweet gas produced was consumed in this sector, he added: Gas consumption increased by 27 percent yesterday compared to the same day last year.
After the cold weather and the forecast of a decrease in temperature, President Masoud Pezzekian, Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad and a group of country officials invited people to participate in the “2 degrees less” campaign by publishing visual or written messages with the aim of optimal consumption and providing winter fuel.
