17% increase in domestic gas consumption

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi stated that about 850 million cubic meters of sweet gas was injected into the national network yesterday (Saturday, December 14), and said: Of this amount, 601 million cubic meters of gas was consumed in the domestic, commercial and small industries, which includes 71 percent of the total gas delivered to the network.
He stated: The amount of gas consumed by the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors has increased by 17 percent yesterday compared to the same period last year.
Yesterday (Saturday, December 14), on the sidelines of a visit to the dispatching center of the National Iranian Gas Company, Mohsen Paknejad, Minister of Oil, stated that all gas refineries are at full capacity to process raw gas received from the upstream sector of the oil industry, and said: All main pipelines and pressure boosting stations are in production. What is certain is that with the decrease in temperature, domestic consumption will increase and we are forced to impose restrictions on gas supply to other sectors to supply gas to the domestic sector.
