CEO of Persian Gulf Holding in a conversation with Energy Press:
The contract for the development of Maron and Ahvaz is finalized
According to the exclusive report of “Energy Press”, Abdul Ali Ali Asgari, the CEO of Persian Gulf Holding, in an exclusive conversation with “Energy Press”, explained the status of this holding’s entry into the upstream gas fields.
Referring to the negotiations with the Ministry of Petroleum, he said that the initial agreement on the development of the Maron Khami gas fields (with the aim of supplying the feed deficit of the Persian Gulf Bidbland Gas and Bandar Imam Petrochemical companies) with a gas volume of about 3.16 trillion cubic feet and Ahvaz Khami (with the aim of maintaining and increasing oil production and increasing pressure) with a volume of 46.7 billion barrels of oil. Ali Asgari emphasized that these fields have liquefied gas and for that reason they are of special importance.
The CEO of Persian Gulf stated that the negotiations for the finalization of the contract between the holding company and the Ministry of Petroleum are in the final stages, and expressed hope that we will soon see the signing of the contract and the start of the project’s implementation stages.
He added: The duration of the implementation of these projects depends on various factors, but according to the progress of the negotiations, it is expected that this process will last less than a year.
