Iran’s electricity allocation system was put into operation

Iran’s electricity allocation system was put into operation
The country's specialized electricity buying and selling market named "Iran's Electricity Allocation System (SETBA)" was put into operation.

According to Energy Press, Iran’s electricity allocation system (SETBA) was created with the aim of creating an efficient platform for sustainable development and improvement of the country’s energy economy and provides the possibility of energy exchange between suppliers and buyers.
This system, which can be accessed at the address https://setba.ir, has made it possible for power plants and other electricity suppliers on the one hand, and electricity retailers on the other hand, by receiving the necessary permits from the Ministry of Energy to allocate electricity. So that they can trade the electricity they want at a more favorable price than they expected, far from the process of conducting long negotiations.
According to this report, the Setba system, like the electricity wholesale market in Iran, is the organizer of the one-way auction of electricity transactions in Iran. The main difference of this market is holding a one-way auction of the second price. This means that in the section of electricity sellers, the lowest price will be the winner of this auction, while the transaction amount will be the price registered by the previous person. In this case, although the winner of this auction is the producer who announced the best price, this sale transaction will happen at a price higher than the registered price.
