He added: According to Article 6 of the Law on Removing Obstacles to the Development of the Electricity Industry, approved by the Islamic Council in 2022, the expenses in excess of the model in the tariff of household subscribers are determined based on the step-incremental method. The tariff structure is designed in such a way that the maximum subsidy is included to the subscribers who are within the scope of the consumption pattern and receive cheaper electricity bills. According to the spokesperson of the electricity industry, according to this law, household subscribers are divided into two categories: subscribers who consume electricity within the limits of the consumption pattern and less than that, and high-consumption subscribers who consume electricity above the pattern. The consumption pattern in hot months and non-hot months is different in that in normal and non-tropical areas that have the largest number of subscribers, such as Tehran and big cities such as Mashhad, Isfahan, Tabriz, etc., the consumption pattern is 300 kilowatt hours per month. This amount reaches below 200 kilowatt hours per month for these areas with the beginning of the autumn season and in the non-hot months. Subscribers should be careful about electricity consumption Rajabi Mashhadhi, pointing out that by entering the month of Mehr, we have left the hot months of the year and have reached the non-hot months, he clarified: From now on, subscribers should be careful and pay attention to their electricity consumption, considering that the consumption pattern of 300 kilowatt-hours has reached below 200 kilowatt-hours per month, if they do not control their consumption, they will be subject to higher tariffs which are incremental and close to electricity supply costs.
