The Deputy Minister of Oil’s warning about the lack of gas and the need for development and investment in the gas field
According to Energy Press, today (Wednesday) Saeed Tawakli, in the first event of completion of the pipe production cycle in the gas industry, thanked all those who worked for the development of this industry and said: the industrial development of the country started with pipe making in the 70s in Isfahan iron smelter and It continued and now it is known as the hub of Asalouye industry.
He added: Anyone who wants to be successful in the country and in the industry, must define and know the interested parties. You should not fight with the opposition, you should neutralize them by evaluating.
Referring to his attendance at the meeting of the Parliament’s Energy Commission, the CEO of the National Gas Company of Iran clarified: the concern of the members of the Islamic Council is clear and important; We must know that the representatives are not against us, but their expectations are one thing and our authority and power is another. At the same time, it is necessary to use the transformation of threats into opportunities.
Tavakoli stated: If the country does not have an industrial development strategy and the location of the industry is not done according to the country’s goals, it is unlikely that we will achieve 8% development.
Referring to the volume of natural gas production and consumption in the country, he emphasized: Now energy imbalance is no longer an issue, we have a shortage and this issue is very serious and should be taken into account.
The Deputy Minister of Oil said: “The discussion of reducing gas consumption is not only for consumers, and we must also take action in the field of development and investment.”
