The CEO of PetroIran Development Company continued: The second issue is the provision of items that do not have domestic equivalents and must be provided from abroad, which requires spending extra time to prepare the goods and pay for them in foreign currency due to the existing sanctions.
Sadeghi clarified: Considering the issues raised, as well as the negotiations and the cooperation of Pars Oil and Gas Company, to prevent interruptions in the drilling operations and timely completion of the wells of the project, an action has been taken to secure the goods required for the first well.
He added: With the actions taken, enough time was given to Iran Petro Development Company to conduct public tenders in order to provide the necessary items and equipment with the highest quality from the best domestic and foreign manufacturers. The offers of contractors and suppliers have been received and the results of the tenders will be finalized in the coming days.
