Morvarid Petrochemical is at the top of the nominal ethylene production table among olefinic petrochemicals
According to Energy Press, the last few days after the end of the first six months of 1402, the National Petrochemical Industries Company has published the latest statistics on the amount of nominal ethylene production in the country’s olefinic units.
According to the NPC report, Morvarid Petrochemical Company was able to reach 94% nominal production in the first six months of the year, while Morvarid reached 80% of nominal production last year at best. It should not be forgotten that this success for Morvarid was achieved while this petrochemical was in overhaul for more than 8 days and the amount of production was practically zero at that time.
In this report, after Morvarid, we can mention Aria Sasol with 92%, Shazand with 91% as the second and third highest nominal ethylene production in the first six months of the year.
Unfortunately, Ilam Petrochemical is still operating below 50% due to the lack of feedstock, and it remains to be seen what measures Persian Gulf Holding will take in the future to solve these problems.
