Currently, despite 31 billion and 190 million cubic meters of water stored in the country's dams, 60% of the capacity of the reservoirs is full and 40% of this capacity is empty.

According to Energy Press, in the first 302 days of the current water year (from the beginning of October 2023 to the 30th of July 2024), a total of 39 billion and 450 million cubic meters of water entered Iran’s dams, which compared to the input of 36 billion and 990 million cubic meters of water to the dams during Similar to the last blue year, it has grown by 7%.
